On June 7, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a meeting with a delegation of foreign investors, including Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Al Mirqab Capital, and Adebayo Ogunlesi, Senior Managing Director of the investment company BlackRock. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and implement mutually beneficial cooperation and promising investment projects in Uzbekistan. During the meeting, priority areas were identified, such as infrastructure and industrial projects under public-private partnerships, including the modernization of gas and electricity distribution networks, water supply systems, energy generation and storage facilities, high-speed railways, and real estate and business infrastructure development. An agreement was reached to adopt a roadmap for the systematic advancement of these projects. Following the negotiations, the official news agency UzA reported on the meeting.
