At the Jeddah Summit, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the President of Turkmenistan, suggested the need to augment trade relations and increase the amount of mutual trade between Central Asian and Gulf states.
“To accomplish these objectives, we propose to consider setting up the Chamber of Commerce of the Central Asian countries and the Gulf Cooperation Council,” the Head of state declared.
The Turkmen leader noted that there are numerous possibilities for investment collaboration, and Turkmenistan is always open to cooperation in the realization of investment projects in key sectors of the economy.
“In this regard, we propose to organize the First Investment Forum of countries of Central Asia and the Gulf Cooperation Council in Turkmenistan in 2024,” the President of Turkmenistan proposed.
