AKIPRESS.COM – During a meeting in Seoul on Monday, Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Han Duk-soo expressed his desire for the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) between South Korea and Mongolia to be adopted quickly. His Mongolian counterpart, Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai, was also in attendance.
Han Duk-soo also expressed his belief that the EPA, which is currently being discussed, will strengthen the foundation of economic cooperation between the two countries.
With trade between South Korea and Mongolia reaching $540 million last year, Han Duk-soo expressed his hopes for further growth in bilateral trade and investment.
Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai stated that Mongolia intends to enhance collaboration with South Korea, a key partner for economic cooperation in the region.
In light of the ongoing dzud, Han Duk-soo offered words of comfort to Mongolia and acknowledged the significant support provided by Korean humanitarian aid to the Mongolian people.
