Recently, a tour of the Republic of Karakalpakstan was conducted for the tourism businesses of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Representatives of the delegation visited several noteworthy sites, such as the Mizdakhan historical complex in Khojeyli district, the open-air museum of ships in Muynak district, the pilgrimage complex of Suleiman Bakyrgani (Khakimota), and the Igor Savitsky State Museum of Arts in Nukus.
Presently, tourists from many countries, such as the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Russia, China, Japan, India, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and more, visit Uzbekistan. Making the most of the tourism potential of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, promptly resolving transport and logistics infrastructure problems, and taking advantage of available resources and opportunities will create additional conditions for businesses involved in tourism.
At the meeting, entrepreneurs from Karakalpakstan and Kazakhstan discussed forming partnerships, developing tourist routes, and boosting the number of travelers.
