DUSHANBE, 18.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Currently, there are more than 700 companies with Chinese investment operating in various sectors of Tajikistan’s economy. This was discussed during a meeting on June 17 in Astana, Kazakhstan between Tajikistan’s President, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, and China’s President, H.E. Xi Jinping.
In light of the rapid industrial development, the establishment of technological and joint industrial parks, as well as research-focused IT centers, was recognized as crucial.
The President of Tajikistan emphasized the need to create joint ventures with Chinese funding for the production of electric vehicles, solar panels, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals in Tajikistan.
The creation of a Tajik-Chinese leasing company was identified as a promising area for collaboration.
