SEOUL, Aug. 8 (Yonhap) — Netmarble Corp. revealed on Tuesday that its second-quarter net loss totaled 44.1 billion won (US$33.5 million), keeping the company in the red compared to the same period last year.
The firm said in a regulatory filing that its operating loss for the April-June period was 37.2 billion won, slightly worse than the 34.7 billion won loss reported in the same period in 2019. Revenue dropped 8.7 percent to 603.3 billion won.
The deficit was 18.8 percent less than the average prediction according to a survey conducted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data branch of Yonhap News Agency.
