Military Leaders from Central and South Asia meet in Tashkent

Delegations from the Ministries of Defense of the United States, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan gathered in Tashkent for the Central and South Asia Chiefs of Defense Conference. At the beginning of the event, flowers were laid at the Ode to Fortitude Monument in the Victory Park Memorial Complex, followed by an excursion to the Museum of Glory. The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant General Bakhodir Kurbonov, and the Commander of U.S. Central Command Michael Kurilla addressed the event.
