The 8th Caspian Media Forum is taking place in Astrakhan, Russia, and is attended by media representatives from 10 countries. The Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan is sending almost 60 of its members to the event, in line with the Presidential Resolution “On measures to support media and development of journalism” of June 27, 2022.
The resolution determined that media representatives should have access to foreign countries for advanced training, internships, and participation in prestigious events. The Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan is planning to arrange training courses with the help of experienced foreign specialists in the upcoming year.
