Kyochon 1991, South Korean Fried Chicken Chain, Establishes First Store in Taiwan

Kyochon Food & Beverage Co., operator of Kyochon 1991, a major fried chicken franchise in South Korea, opened its first store in Taiwan on Thursday as part of its global business expansion plan.

The Banqiao Global Store in New Taipei City will offer its signature menu and a selection of local specialties to customers. Kyochon plans to open a second outlet in Taipei in October and a third by the end of the year.

Kyochon currently operates 67 stores in seven countries, including the United States, China, and Taiwan.
