SEOUL, Aug. 11 (Yonhap) — Kolmar Korea Co. revealed on Friday that its net income for the second quarter was 42.6 billion won (US$32.3 million), a jump of 89.3% from the same period the year before.
The company also reported an operating income of 55.7 billion won, a 65.5% increase from the year before, and revenue that rose 19.3% to 599.7 billion won.
The operating profit was 36.5% higher than what was predicted in a survey from Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency. There was no available forecast for the net income.
