The Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev held a meeting with the Acting OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan, Ambassador Clemens Koja.
As reported by Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides discussed the present state and possibilities of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the OSCE in the Afghan sphere and shared their views on the current situation in Afghanistan.
Ambassador Clemens Koja highlighted Uzbekistan’s major role in providing humanitarian and other kinds of aid to the Afghan citizens, as well as executing various infrastructure projects in Afghanistan.
