In anticipation of the upcoming Medical Forum “Uzbekistan – the People’s Republic of China”, which is planned for October in Tashkent, a team of doctors from Uzbekistan visited the Chinese Medicine Hospital of Shenyang Medical University to investigate potential possibilities for collaboration. At the meeting, the delegation from Uzbekistan was exposed to the newest developments in Chinese medicine and discussed the directions of cooperation, with particular focus on conservative and surgical treatment of joint diseases. The purpose of the trip was to implement unconventional methods of Chinese medicine.
On the second day of the trip, the delegation held a meeting with the leadership of Shenyang Medical University. It was noted that the memorandum signed with the Tashkent Medical Academy requires an expeditious exchange of masters and specialists, with over 60 students from Uzbekistan currently enrolled in the university.
During the gathering, the members of the delegation got to know more about the activities of the university. Subsequently, a deal was made between the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics and the Chinese Medicine Hospital, which involves the exchange of knowledge and information, personnel training, and master classes.
