Monday saw South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Group partner up with Chinese electric vehicle (EV) charging service information provider NaaS Technology Inc. at NaaS’ Beijing headquarters. The two companies inked a deal to create tailored EV charging services using their connected services platform and NaaS’ charging infrastructure data.

NaaS, the first U.S.-listed EV charging services provider in China, has access to data from 55,000 charging stations and 400,000 chargers spread across the world’s biggest auto market. Hyundai and NaaS’s collaboration includes a “home charger-sharing system” for EV owners in China, allowing them to make money by sharing their chargers with other EV owners, Hyundai revealed.
