The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, extended an invitation to German banks to develop direct ties with state and commercial banks of Turkmenistan during a meeting of the heads of delegations of Central Asian countries and the Eastern Economic Committee of Germany in Berlin.
Hero-Arkadag expressed that the financial and banking sector should be a primary area of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Germany. He noted that the growing banking system of Turkmenistan is an essential part of the country’s financial sector, with attention being paid to developing relations with foreign banks.
“We invite German banks, export credit institutions, and insurance organizations to actively engage in direct relations with state and commercial banks of Turkmenistan,” the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty stated.
