A digital gathering was held between delegates of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan and the Hebrew Writers Association in Israel, as reported by the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the State of Israel Feruza Makhmudova hosted the meeting.
Deputy Chairman of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan Gayrat Majid informed Israeli colleagues about the literary activities of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan.
During the conversation, the album book “The Alley of Litterateurs”, the two-volume “Anthology of Uzbek Poetry”, as well as several books published by the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, several volumes of the 100-volume “Masterpieces of Turkic Literature”, which is a unique project of translation activities of Uzbek writers, were presented. Feruza Makhmudova also showcased several books about the unique cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.
The parties discussed matters of establishing cooperation between the two organizations.
