The Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan invites guests to experience the Archaeological Treasures of Uzbekistan – from Alexander the Great to the Kushan Empire. On display is the head of Devata with a necklace from the 1st-2nd century AD.

Devatas are divine powers that represent a specific aspect of reality in Hinduism and Buddhism. They can be deities of the forest, village, cave, mountain, and hill. In Buddhism, these are minor deities that were included in the environment of the Buddha.
Visit the exhibition “Archaeological Treasures of Uzbekistan – from Alexander the Great to the Kushan Empire” until January 14, 2024, in Berlin to witness the Devata’s head with a necklace.
