On September 29, 2023, the “Belt and Road Cooperation in Cultural Heritage and Archeology” archaeological show opened at the Gugong Imperial Palace Museum in Beijing.
The Art and Culture Development Foundation of the Republic of Uzbekistan reported that guests to the exhibition could view more than 80 gallery pieces from China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and the United Arab Emirates.
The exhibition contains several divisions mirroring various stages of development of the culture and art of the people living along the Great Silk Road.
Uzbekistan will exhibit eighteen artifacts from the accumulation of the State Museum of History and the Institute of Art History of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. The event is the most significant event for all countries participating in the forum and intends to fortify and enhance cultural cooperation between them.
Art objects from Uzbekistan are displayed with the help of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan.
The exhibition, held as part of the Belt and Road Forum, will be open from September 29, 2023 to January 5, 2024.
