The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation held an international conference to foster dialogue and collaboration between Central Asian nations in the field of higher education. At the gathering, plans were proposed to boost the capabilities of educators, strengthen research cooperation, and upgrade the infrastructure, regional collaboration in higher education, and the integration of territories and local initiatives in this sector.

The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov, discussed the accomplishments made in guaranteeing fairness and openness of higher education in the nation, increasing the coverage of youth in higher education, reinforcing the physical and technical foundation of educational institutions, guaranteeing transparency of the admission process into the higher education system, and improving the quality of education.
At the conference, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan Nurbek Sayasat, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Rasul Abazbek, and the Minister of Education and Science of Tajikistan Rahim Hamro Saidzade provided reports on the reforms and international cooperation that have been conducted in the past few years in higher education.
Comments were made on further strengthening the close cooperation between the higher education systems of Central Asian nations.
