DUSHANBE, 12.12.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On the sidelines of the COP28 in Dubai, Bahodur Sheralizoda, Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection, and Sheikh Dr Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al Thani, Minister of Environment and Climate Change of Qatar, held a meeting to discuss collaboration between the two countries in the area of climate change.
Sheralizoda spoke about Tajikistan’s efforts in fulfilling its nationally determined contributions to the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
The international community recognized Tajikistan’s role in advancing water and climate issues, including the successful UN Water Conference co-chaired by Tajikistan and the Netherlands in New York in March 2023.
