A meeting between the Ministry of Preschool and School Education and the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China took place, as well as with a computer manufacturing company.
The parties discussed matters of bilateral cooperation and future plans. It was announced that the second stage of the project “Improving the quality of teaching foreign languages and computer science in grades 5-9” was funded by a $12 million grant from China to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education. This money will be used to provide 20,848 computers to 1,303 secondary schools in the nation.
At the meeting, it was mentioned that the computers could be used to study foreign languages and informatics in more detail.
