The delegation led by the Minister of Employment and Labor of the Republic of Korea Lee Jung Sik, who traveled to Uzbekistan on a business trip, came to Samarkand.
The guests, with the accompaniment of the Deputy Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rano Turdiboyeva, got acquainted with the operations of the Vocational Training Center established by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Samarkand.


“These centers have become a solid basis for our partnership in employment and labor migration”, said the Minister of Employment and Labor of the Republic of Korea Lee Jung Sik. – There are 4 such centers in Uzbekistan. We are planning to expand our collaboration in this area.
The members of the delegation visited the “Ishga Markhamat” monocenter in Samarkand, where they learned about the conditions and options for vocational training of unemployed individuals and highly praised its activities.


The visitors also saw the sights of the city of Samarkand.
