According to the district administration, 9.7 million soms were dedicated to the capital repair of irrigation canals in Issyk-Kul district in 2023. The allocated funds have been used for various works, including mechanical cleaning, repairs, and overhauls of canals, as well as the purchase of spare parts for the Bereke pumping station. In addition, an artificial glacier was created to address the issue of water scarcity in the northern part of Chyrpykty village. The project has yielded positive results so far, with an estimated 50,000 cubic meters of water frozen, which will enable drip irrigation for 50 hectares of land.
