The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan hosted the 9th General Assembly Meeting of Theatre Directors of TURKSOY Member Countries in Shusha, which was declared the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World for 2023. Representatives from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Northern Cyprus and Türkiye were present to review the accomplishments of the state theaters of the TURKSOY member countries from the past theater season. Discussions were held on joint projects, art exchange on stage and plans for the upcoming year 2024. The 10th General Assembly Meeting of Theatre Directors of TURKSOY Member Countries was proposed, with its location being the subject of discussion.
