Accord for Technical Partnership Project to Enhance Cross-border Climate and Hazard Risk Management in Central Asia Sealed in Dushanbe

On October 9, Bahodur Sheralizoda, Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection, and Daniel Passon, Head of the Department of the German Society for International Cooperation for the Western Balkans, Central Asia and Eastern Europe, put their signatures to a contract in Dushanbe. The agreement was for the execution of a technical cooperation project within the framework of the Regional Program “Climate Risk Management in Central Asia”, which strives to better cross-border climate and disaster risk management in Central Asia.

The two sides discussed the current state of affairs and the potential for further collaboration in the field of environmental protection, and both were pleased with the extent of bilateral cooperation.
