The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has accepted an invitation from the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to visit Almaty on March 29 for a working visit. Both leaders will participate in a high-level informal meeting, joined by delegations from both countries. The discussions will focus on strengthening the strong partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, as well as addressing current international and regional matters. The meeting will also aim to enhance practical cooperation in various areas such as trade, industry, transportation, energy, agriculture, and water management. Additionally, the leaders will work towards maintaining active interregional connections and promoting cultural and humanitarian exchanges. It is worth mentioning that a similar bilateral meeting was held in Khiva in April of last year between the leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. UzA will provide updates on the meeting.
