DUSHANBE, 25.01.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The Government of Tajikistan reported that in 2023, the country’s gross domestic product reached 130.8 billion somoni with a growth rate of 8.3 percent. This information was shared during an extended meeting on January 24.
The inflation rate for this period was 3.8 percent, which is 0.4 percentage points lower compared to the previous year, 2022.
The state budget received 43.2 billion somoni in revenues, exceeding the planned amount by 1.5 billion somoni.
In 2023, the country saw the establishment of 729 new industrial enterprises, contributing to the growth and development of its industrial production.
