The President’s strategic initiatives and far-sighted leadership have elevated the agricultural sector to a new level of development. The state places great importance on the technical equipment and modernization of structures in the agro-industrial complex and the service sector, as well as the purchase of high-performance machinery for grain harvesting.
Similar to other sectors of the economy, large-scale reforms are taking place in agriculture to ensure its harmonious development. Attention is also given to the effective labor of rural workers and grain growers. They are provided with high-quality seeds, fertilizers, and modern machinery, and timely payments are made for their harvested crops. These measures not only increase farmers’ interest in their work but also inspire new achievements.
While observing the grain harvesters’ work, the President instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure the harvest’s high quality and timely delivery. He emphasized the need for maximum utilization of high-performance machinery from world-renowned companies.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the state’s support in strengthening the material and technical base of the agro-industrial complex and systematically purchasing new equipment. He assured that all efforts will be made to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
The President also inquired about the progress of work in the country’s fields, the pace of grain harvesting, and the yield level. The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers reported that wheat harvesting is currently underway at an accelerated pace in all five regions. With the President’s blessing, harvesting began last week in Ahal, Lebap, and Mary velayats, and today in Balkan and Dashoguz velayats. It was noted that preparations for the harvest were organized at a high level.
Thanks to the state’s care, modern combines from renowned companies such as John Deere and Claas are being effectively used during the grain harvest season. These machines operate around the clock, helping daikhans harvest wheat quickly and without losses.
The President emphasized the need for effective activities of agricultural enterprises, including elevators, processing plants, and water management facilities. He also stressed the importance of high-quality and timely completion of grain harvesting and gave specific instructions for timely settlements with farmers for their harvested crops.
In this context, the effective use of modern technology and the introduction of advanced methods and technologies into production are crucial. These measures contribute to the successful solution of important tasks to ensure food abundance and open up opportunities for further agricultural development.
Reforms in the agricultural and industrial sectors are part of the President of Turkmenistan’s comprehensive support for producers. As a result, daikhans work diligently, cultivating rich harvests of agricultural products through the introduction of new lands and improved practices. This ensures food abundance and improves the well-being of the people and every family.
This year, new high-yielding wheat varieties such as “Arkadag,” “Serdar,” and “Pyragy” were sown in the country’s agricultural lands. These varieties have high yields, large grains, and require less irrigation, making them highly beneficial.
The President also inspected an exhibition of vegetable, melon, and fruit products, grain varieties, bread, and bakery products made from this year’s harvest. The products made from new wheat varieties were of excellent quality.
The variety of products showcased is a testament to the richness of the Turkmen land. This ancient land, where Ak Bugday originated, is known for its fertility and high-quality crops, especially wheat. This is a testament to the land and water’s generosity in this region. As a result of the state’s programmatic work, abundant harvests of white wheat, vegetables, melons, fruits, and berries are cultivated, filling our tables and bringing abundance to the people.
