At the Paris Olympics, Uzbekistan’s Hasanboy Dusmatov, competing in the 51kg weight category, emerged as the champion in the final round.

In the final match of this weight division, Dusmatov faced off against France’s Billal Bennama for the Olympic title. The Uzbekistani boxer emerged victorious, earning his second Olympic gold medal.

This brings the total medal count for the Uzbekistan delegation to 3 gold and 2 bronze medals.

The third conference on intellectual property of the countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative was successfully held in Beijing, with the participation of a delegation from Uzbekistan led by Deputy Minister of Justice Muzraf Ikramov. The conference, organized by the China National Intellectual Property Administration and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), focused on strengthening regional cooperation in intellectual property and exploring ways to promote innovation and creativity through financial opportunities.
