Uzbekistan’s Artificial Intelligence Development Strategy 2030 was presented at the UN Headquarters in New York. The event, organized by the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism and the International Criminal Police Organization, brought together distinguished guests, including UN leaders, experts, and representatives from diplomatic corps.

The attendees were given an overview of the strategy’s key areas and Uzbekistan’s significant advancements and reforms in the field of artificial intelligence. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the priority of developing information technologies and implementing innovations in the country’s state policy.

Uzbekistan aims to increase the production and services of software based on artificial intelligence to $1.5 billion, establish 10 scientific laboratories, and establish a legal framework to support relevant technologies. The strategy also places importance on creating a robust computing and technical infrastructure for data processing.

As a result of the event, agreements were made for further collaboration between Uzbekistan and the United Nations in the field of artificial intelligence, paving the way for the country’s technological progress.
