On February 24, the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan will unveil their latest project, “Crafting Uzbekistan: Tradition in Threads,” at the First Design Doha Biennial.
The official website of the Biennial reports that the exquisite display from Uzbekistan will showcase the evolution of traditional crafts and their vibrant customs throughout the past century. One of the most impressive features of the exhibit is the lenticular floor, which creates the illusion of changing colors through movement, mimicking traditional textiles. The opening of the Design Doha Biennial 2024 will take place in the innovative district of Msheireb, the capital.
The exhibition project, “Crafting Uzbekistan: Tradition in Threads,” will be open for viewing until March 30, 2024.
