During the meeting, the two leaders discussed current issues related to the further development of practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovakia. The President of Uzbekistan emphasized that this visit marks a significant milestone in the multifaceted relations between the two countries. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of cooperation in all areas, including political dialogue, business and humanitarian exchanges, and trade. They also highlighted the importance of systematic cooperation and coordination between the foreign ministries, particularly in partnership with European institutions. The leaders also discussed ways to increase trade turnover, including expanding the range of mutual supplies. They also emphasized the importance of implementing the signed agreements in technical regulation and metrology. The two countries agreed to develop a comprehensive Program of Industrial Cooperation, which will include projects in various sectors such as agriculture, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and green energy. The leaders also discussed the potential for digital solutions and startup investments, proposing the establishment of a joint venture fund to support IT startups. In the humanitarian sphere, both sides expressed mutual interest in expanding educational and academic exchange. They also agreed to adopt a Cooperation Program in culture and discussed the issue of organized labor migration. The two countries also exchanged views on international issues and agreed to adopt a comprehensive roadmap to ensure the effective implementation of decisions and agreements.
