Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov had a conversation with the UK’s Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office Leo Docherty.
The two sides talked about bolstering ties between the two countries in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, and humanitarian fields.
The British delegation highly valued the 27th meeting of the Uzbek-British Trade and Industry Council held in London last week, which was attended by representatives of more than 150 British companies.
The parties agreed to keep a close dialogue on the situation in Afghanistan to help ensure long-term peace, social and economic stability in this country.
