Uzatom and Assystem Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation

The Director of Uzatom Agency, Azim Akhmedkhadjaev, and the Senior Vice President for International Affairs at Assystem, Christian Jeannot, have officially signed a Memorandum of Cooperation regarding nuclear energy. This agreement includes the establishment of a joint venture that will provide technical support for the construction of a nuclear power plant and support Uzbekistan’s efforts to develop a civilian nuclear program. It also involves selecting design solutions and developing them based on a unified concept. According to the Agency’s Press Service, Assystem is a leading independent engineering company in the nuclear energy sector, based in Paris. The company offers international services for designing, constructing, monitoring, and commissioning industrial infrastructure and reactors. It is recognized as the third-largest independent engineering organization in the world for nuclear energy and has extensive experience in digital solutions and project management.
