Ulugbek Rashitov secures second Olympic gold in taekwondo WT competition

The winners for the taekwondo WT competition in the 68kg weight category at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games have been announced. In the final match, Ulugbek Rashitov from Uzbekistan faced off against Zaid Kareem from Jordan. Despite intense and unresolved disputes, Rashitov emerged victorious, earning himself the gold medal at the Olympics. This also marks the first time in history that an Uzbekistani taekwondo athlete has won two Olympic gold medals. With this win, the Uzbekistani sports delegation now has a total of 2 gold and 2 bronze medals. The news was reported by Javokhir Tashkhojayev for UzA.
