Last week, there were 48 registered transactions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
Base oil, petroleum road bitumen, and liquefied gas produced by State Concerns “Türkmennebit” and “Türkmenhimiýa” were purchased by businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, and Afghanistan using foreign currency.
Entrepreneurs from the UAE and Kyrgyzstan also bought various products such as plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, cotton fabric, and yarn using foreign currency. The total amount of these transactions was over 2 million 283 thousand US dollars.
Domestic businessmen bought petrochemical products such as polypropylene, base oil, total petroleum coke, and petroleum road bitumen from State Concern “Türkmennebit”, as well as fine-grained potassium chloride, technical carbon, and iodine from State Concern “Türkmenhimiýa” using local currency. Additionally, licorice root extract, cotton yarn, raw and denim fabric, and cotton fiber were sold. The total amount of these transactions exceeded 1 billion 139 million manats.
