Last week, there were 13 registered transactions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. These transactions involved the purchase of petroleum bitumen and polypropylene, produced by the technological installations of SC “Türkmennebit”, by entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates and Türkiye using foreign currency.
Additionally, dyed terry products, licorice tea, and cotton yarn were also sold for foreign currency. These products were purchased by countries such as United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, Germany, and Kyrgyzstan. The total amount of these transactions exceeded 1 million 257 thousand US dollars.
For the domestic market, domestic businessmen bought cotton yarn, iodine alcohol solution, and cotton fiber. The total amount of these transactions was more than 3 million 801 thousand manats.
