During the previous week, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan recorded 26 transactions at its auctions.
Entrepreneurs from various countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and others purchased polypropylene, hydrotreated diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, motor and lubricating oils produced by the State Concern “Türkmennebit” using foreign currency. In addition, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, cotton yarn, raw silk, and cotton fiber were also sold to buyers from UAE, Turkey, and Pakistan. The total value of these transactions exceeded 28 million 619 thousand US dollars.
For the domestic market, domestic businessmen bought petroleum road bitumen and polypropylene produced by the State Concern “Türkmennebit”, as well as handmade carpets, cotton yarn, and fabric using the local currency. The total value of these transactions amounted to more than 23 million 269 thousand manat.
