The President of Turkmenistan has allowed “Türkmenenergo” to come to an agreement with “Çalik Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.” to build a 1574 MW combined cycle power plant in the Turkmenbashy etrap of Balkan velayat, along with the transmission lines for its connection to the grid and the purchase of essential spare parts for existing state-owned power plants.
