The Turkic World Forum “Return to Western Azerbaijan” was held in Tashkent at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan. The purpose of the event was to highlight the historical lands of Azerbaijan and its rich cultural heritage, which has been shaped over thousands of years in Western Azerbaijan.

According to Boburbek Ruziyev, a professor at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the international summit of the Turkic world has several objectives, including strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. The summit aims to revive and strengthen the Turkic world, with a focus on economic cooperation. Another goal is to create a union similar to the European Union within the Turkic region, based on shared culture, language, and brotherly ties.

The leaders of Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan recognize the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) as a special organization that brings together people with common roots and religion.

As we know, the Turkic Youth Summit takes place every year, promoting the creation of professional networks and fostering friendships among young people from various Turkic countries. This allows them to communicate, exchange ideas, and learn from each other, ultimately strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation within the Turkic community. This also gives them a sense of importance and influence in addressing global issues and allows them to express their ideas and proposals for the development of the Turkic world.

During the event in Tashkent, discussions were held on the potential for developing tourism, including ecotourism, gastro-tourism, and linguistic tourism.
