Dilshod Akhatov, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Germany, recently visited Leipzig in the state of Saxony and held meetings with various officials.

During a discussion with Fabian Magerl, the CEO of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the attendees were briefed on the significant reforms taking place in Uzbekistan and the favorable conditions for foreign companies and entrepreneurs.

The two parties also exchanged ideas on potential areas for mutually beneficial cooperation and organizing a visit to Uzbekistan for a delegation of Chamber members. This would include a business forum and a roundtable discussion on professional education. It was emphasized that such events provide a valuable platform for sharing knowledge and expertise among businesses, educational institutions, and government agencies.

The Ambassador also met with Martin Buhl-Wagner, the Managing Director of Leipziger Messe, to discuss the possibility of joint events to strengthen economic and cultural ties through collaboration with Uzexpocentre, the national exhibition complex.
