The Uzbekistan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, had a meeting with Kuwait’s Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economics Affairs and Investment, Anwar A. Al-Mudhaf, in Kuwait.

During the meeting, Saidov stated that it was a productive discussion with Al-Mudhaf and emphasized the importance of having a comprehensive agenda for the upcoming First Intergovernmental Commission Meeting on trade, which will take place in Tashkent this November. They also agreed to work together to increase and diversify bilateral trade, promote regular business-to-business contacts, and support joint projects.

The third conference on intellectual property of the countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative was successfully held in Beijing, with the participation of a delegation from Uzbekistan led by Deputy Minister of Justice Muzraf Ikramov. The conference, organized by the China National Intellectual Property Administration and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), focused on strengthening regional cooperation in intellectual property and exploring ways to promote innovation and creativity through financial opportunities. The participating countries agreed to prioritize openness, solidarity, mutually beneficial cooperation, and the development of intellectual property within the Belt and Road Initiative. Norgul Abduraimova from UzA also attended the conference.
