On December 7, an extended meeting was held under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to discuss measures for training the population in sought-after professions and creating high-paying jobs. This issue has always been a top priority in the state’s social policy, especially with the increasing demand for skilled mid-level personnel in the global economy. During the meeting, key aspects of training such specialists were examined and current objectives were identified. The meeting also heard reports on the positive experience of collaboration between technical schools and manufacturing enterprises to establish a dual education system, as well as the need to support private enterprises involved in this process and create attractive conditions for them to expand dual education. The meeting also addressed the importance of foreign language proficiency for modern professions and instructed for an increase in language classes and the recruitment of foreign teachers in technical schools. Additionally, the need to improve the quality of training in professional centers and align their programs with labor market demands was highlighted. The meeting also focused on the issuance of internationally recognized certificates for individuals who have mastered a profession independently or as an apprentice, and the simplification of visa procedures for citizens wishing to receive an education or work in modern enterprises abroad. To provide more opportunities for students, the Youth Affairs Agency will begin providing loans for travel expenses to participate in programs like “Work and Travel”. In addition, the meeting emphasized the importance of strengthening dialogue with compatriots working abroad and providing them with social and legal support.
