The “INSON” project marks a significant step towards improving Uzbekistan’s social protection system. Its objective is to enhance the well-being of vulnerable groups and ensure that they have access to quality social services. A meeting was held between the Director of the National Agency for Social Protection and representatives of the World Bank mission to discuss the progress and achievements of the “INSON” project. The Director expressed gratitude to the World Bank for their continuous support in this endeavor. Special attention was given to the training and development of social protection workers, with a strong focus on the principle of “For Human Honor and Dignity”. The meeting also covered plans for collaboration with the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO) to implement training programs for social protection workers. According to industry experts, the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy aims to transform the social services system and achieve key objectives such as creating a new support system for people with disabilities, promoting inclusivity, strengthening support for women, and promoting gender equality.
