In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a conference titled “Training qualified professional personnel in crime prevention and crime control: trends and prospects” was held in Tashkent. The event was attended by representatives from international organizations, the diplomatic corps, prominent domestic and foreign universities, the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Legislative Chamber, the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, as well as various ministries and agencies. The conference aimed to discuss the current and future directions for training personnel in crime prevention and control, exchange knowledge and experiences, and generate proposals and recommendations for implementing modern approaches in education. The conference also showcased presentations from government agencies, industry experts, scientists, and international and domestic specialists. In addition, a video highlighting the activities of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was shown, and bilateral meetings between representatives of foreign universities and the Academy were planned, along with the signing of cooperation agreements. A joint resolution will be adopted and a collection of scientific materials will be published following the conference. The event was documented by photographer Muhammad Amin from UzA.
