Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Farkhod Ermanov, held a meeting with the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, and the Republic of Korea. During the meeting, the Chairman noted that these gatherings, initiated by the President of Uzbekistan, provide vast prospects for the sustainable development of the region’s economies. He also mentioned that through extensive reforms in recent years, measures have been taken at the local level to improve the investment climate and create favorable conditions for foreign investors. Additionally, there is a focus on attracting international grants and external non-reimbursable resources. The meeting also included a presentation on the opportunities and advantages available to entrepreneurs and foreign investors in Karakalpakstan. The Uzbek ambassadors expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome and shared their views on the future development of the Aral Sea region, the implementation of international projects, and attracting investors.
