Strengthening the Close Collaboration among the Youth of Central Asian Countries

At the fifty-eighth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Law “On Ratification of the Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan on Common Areas of Youth Policy (Dushanbe, September 14, 2023)” was discussed.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan proposed the adoption of this Agreement during the Fourth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia on July 21, 2022, in Cholpon-Ata.

The law covers various aspects of youth policy in the region, such as organizing mass events, projects, youth camps, interstate youth activities, workshops, discussion clubs, roundtable discussions, youth forums, and conferences on current youth policy issues.

The adoption of this law will facilitate the development of partnerships between Central Asian Countries in youth policy and will enhance cooperation among the youth in the region.
