More than 100 leaders of universities, representatives from the field of science, and government officials participated in the Uzbekistan-China educational forum in Beijing. As part of the collaboration with Chinese universities, discussions were held on topics such as academic mobility, student exchange, the incorporation of artificial intelligence in education, teacher training, and internships.
The forum was attended by A. Gulyamov, Vice-Rector of Tashkent State Transport University, who signed cooperation agreements with several educational institutions, including Tianjin Maritime Vocational College.
According to the memorandum, efforts will be intensified to construct the Luban Workshop, with plans to complete the laboratory and equip it with necessary technical equipment by the end of the year. Additionally, Chinese expertise will be utilized in developing transportation infrastructure.
A Memorandum of Cooperation was also signed with Tianjin Foreign Studies University, a leading higher education institution in China, to facilitate the exchange of experience for Tashkent State Transport University.
The memorandum includes provisions for the exchange of professors, researchers, and administrative staff, as well as students in related fields, cooperation in scientific research, organization of joint conferences and competitions, and exchange of educational and scientific materials and data.
