The Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan received a visit from Kaha Imnadze, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and Head of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia. During the meeting with Senate Chairperson Tanzila Narbayeva, discussions were held regarding the current state and future plans for collaboration with the UN and its specialized agencies, including the UNRCCA. The two parties exchanged views on the ongoing efforts to promote good-neighborliness, economic growth, peace, and stability among the countries in the region. Additionally, the importance of promoting gender equality and empowering young people, including educational issues, was emphasized.
