Recognition of Uzbek films in Kyrgyzstan

The Ak Ilbirs Film Award was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The winner of the “Best Actress of Central Asia” category was Roza Piyazova, who starred in the film “Sunday” commissioned by the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan. The well-known director, screenwriter, and cinematographer Elyor Ishmuhamedov was honored with the “Outstanding Contribution to World Cinematography” award. He is known for creating popular films such as “Tenderness”, “Farewell, Greens of Summer”, “What Are Our Years”, “Lovers”, “Birds of Our Hopes”, “Lovers 2”, and “Shock” which have gained the admiration of numerous viewers. Additionally, during the International Film Festival in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbek Cinema Days were organized where Kyrgyz audiences had the opportunity to watch films produced by the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan, such as “Abdulla Aripov”, “Fortitude”, and “Uzbek”.
