Representatives from travel agencies, city air ticket offices, and other tourism-related organizations attended the event, where they were informed about the current state of relations between Russia and Uzbekistan and the increasing number of tourists between the two countries. The speakers emphasized the significance of tourism not only for the economy but also for promoting public diplomacy and mutual understanding. Nadejda Koshnenkova, Director General of AeroTour, highlighted the growing interest of Russian travelers in Uzbekistan and the country’s continuous development of its infrastructure to provide comfortable conditions for tourists.
